Abstract The type of subgrade a railroad foundation is vital to the overall performance track structure. With train speed and tonnage increase, as well environmental changes, evaluation influence are even more paramount in structure performance. A geomechanics classification for proposed coupling stiffness (resilient modulus) permanent deformation behaviour evaluated by means repeated triaxial loading tests. This covers from fine- coarse-grained soils, grouped UIC ASTM.
