A geomechanics classification for the rating of railroad subgrade performance

چکیده
Abstract The type of subgrade a railroad foundation is vital to the overall performance track structure. With train speed and tonnage increase, as well environmental changes, evaluation influence are even more paramount in structure performance. A geomechanics classification for proposed coupling stiffness (resilient modulus) permanent deformation behaviour evaluated by means repeated triaxial loading tests. This covers from fine- coarse-grained soils, grouped UIC ASTM. For this achievement, we first summarize main models estimating resilient modulus deformation, including their robustness sensitivity mechanical parameters. followed procedure required arrive at geomechanical rating, discussion factors. work attempt obtain new that can be useful tool modelling railway structures.
